Lindenwold Police Department Conduct Narcotics Investigation, Seven Suspects Arrested

LINDENWOLD NJ (CNBNews.net)--On April 21, 2015 Detectives from the Lindenwold Police Department and the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Suburban Narcotics Task Force executed two search warrants in the Arborwood Condominium complex. The search warrants were the result of a three month investigation into the distribution of crack cocaine and heroin in the Arborwood complex. The investigation began after police began receiving complaints that unit 3301 was operating a “speak easy” where people could purchase beer and cigarettes among other items. The search warrants were executed by the Camden County Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team at 1402 and 3301 Arborwood. 



The search of unit 1402 yielded 1 ½ ounces of heroin, just over ½ ounce of crack cocaine, one tab of LSD, a crossbow and a standard bow. 

The following arrests were made at unit 1402 Arborwood: 

Matthew Sullivan 31 of Lindenwold, NJ 
Benjamin Sullivan 27 of Lindenwold, NJ 
Elijah Byers 35 of Lindenwold, NJ 

The search of unit 3301 yielded 4 ounces of marijuana, just under ½ ounce of heroin, 42 percocet pills, illegal fireworks, a stun gun, an expandable baton, a loaded .380 caliber handgun, and a counter surveillance system. Officers also found pipes used for smoking crack cocaine and syringes which they believe were offered for sale. 

The following arrests were made at unit 3301 Arborwood: 

Joy Wilson 31 of Lindenwold, NJ 
Michael Lower 37 of Lindenwold, NJ 
Joseph Jacob 21 of Lindenwold, NJ 
Amir Furlow 24 of Lindenwold, NJ 

All of the parties arrested were charged with numerous narcotics offenses including Distribution of CDS within 1,000 feet of a school. All of the defendants were remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility in default of $100,000 cash bail.
