Gloucester City Police Conduct Two Drug Raids

On April 14 at 6pm Gloucester City detectives and the patrol division along with the Camden County Sheriff’s Department S.E.R.T. Team executed a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of Morris Street culminating an investigation into the distribution of CDS from the residence. As a result, a quantity of prescription medication and cash were seized. Deborah A. Elwell (58) and Edward G. Elwell (37) were both arrested and charged with possession of CDS (prescription medication), possession with intent to distribute, distribution within 1000 feet of a school, distribution within 500 feet of a park and distribution within 500 feet of public housing. Bail was set at $25,000 for each of them and they were released after posting bond.

On April 16, at 6:18 pm City detectives and the patrol division along with the Camden County Sheriff’s Department S.E.R.T. Team executed a search warrant at an apartment in the unit block of N. Broadway culminating an investigation into the distribution of CDS from the apartment. As a result, a quantity of heroin, marijuana and cash were seized. Gill P. Nobles (33), was arrested and charged with possession of CDS (heroin and marijuana), possession of CDS with intent to distribute, distribution within 1000 feet of a school, distribution within 500 feet of public housing, distribution within 500 feet of a park, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also found to have outstanding warrants for his arrest and was a fugitive from justice out of Gloucester County. He was later remanded to Camden County Jail after failing to post $50,000 bail.

Zachary A. Fox (20), a resident of the 200 block of Linden Street, was arrested on N. Broadway at King Street for possession of CDS (heroin and crack cocaine) and being a fugitive from justice out of Cumberland County. He was later remanded to Camden County Jail without bail.

8:11 pm

Officers responded to an apartment in the 300 block of Monmouth Street for a domestic dispute. No arrests were reported.

12:11 am

An officer was dispatched to Tavern on the Edge on Jersey Avenue for an employee who was assaulted by a female patron. Upon arrival, the patron had left the area. No charges were signed at this time.

7:36 am

An officer responded to the Gloucester City Little League parking lot on Nicholson Road for a motor vehicle crash involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

11:56 am

Officers responded to Market Street at Walnut Avenue for a motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

1:41 pm

Officers responded to Rt. 130 at Market Street for a report of a male walking in and out of traffic attempting to slap vehicles as they drove past. Upon arrival, the officers observed the intoxicated male engaging in the reported activity. After the male failed to exit the roadway when ordered to do so and resisting the officers’ attempts to physically remove him from the roadway, the male was placed under arrest. Jason R. Usilton (28), a resident of Camden, was charged with obstruction and he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was later released on bail and transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Officers responded to a residence in the 300 block of Hudson Street for a domestic dispute. No arrests were reported.

8:20 pm

Officers responded to a residence in the 900 block of Birch Avenue for an assault. Upon arrival, neither party wished to sign a complaint.

11:02 pm

Officers responded to the 800 block of Monmouth Street for a hit and run motor vehicle crash where two parked vehicles were struck. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers responded to a residence in the 700 block of Powell Street for a domestic dispute. No arrests were reported.

Officers responded to Market Street at Park Avenue for a motor vehicle crash involving one vehicle. As a result, Talia M. Ricci (26), a resident of Maple Shade, was arrested and charged with D.W.I. Subsequent breath testing resulting in a reading of .15%.

An officer responded to King Street at Middlesex Street for a motor vehicle crash involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

2:35 pm

An officer responded to the 600 block of Market Street for a motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

5:04 pm

A motor vehicle stop on Broadway at Ridgeway Street resulted in the arrests of the following individuals: Dayna D. Allard (28), a resident of Somerdale, Brian Divincenzo (27), a resident of Bellmawr, Denise Terrell (28), a resident of Lindenwold and Megan E. Warner (22), a resident of Pine Hill were all charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

9:58 pm

Thomas M. Maloney (40), a resident of Runnemede, was arrested on Broadway at Somerset Street for possession of CDS (prescription medication), bench warrants and driving on a suspended license. He was later released on bail.

Officers responded to Rt. 130 at Market Street for a motor vehicle crash involving three vehicles. No injuries were reported.

11:07 am

Officers responded to Nicholson Road at Temple Avenue for a motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

2:19 pm

Conrad F. Traenkner (48), a resident of the 200 block of N. Broadway, was arrested on Broadway at Essex Street for possession of CDS (crack cocaine).

3:41 pm

An officer responded to Broadway at Essex Street for a motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

7:19 pm

Matthew S. Sorbello (30), a resident of Vineland, was arrested in the 100 block of S. King Street for bench warrants. He was later turned over to Deptford Police.

 

10:11 pm

James D. Dean (29), a resident of Woodbury, was arrested on N. Broadway at Passaic Street for bench warrants and being a fugitive from justice out of Camden County. He was later remanded to Camden County Jail without bail.

12:08 am

Mark Kolesinski (21), a resident of the 300 block of Ridgeway Street, was arrested on Broadway at George Street for bench warrants. He was later transported to Atlantic County Jail after failing to post bail.

 

6:18 pm

An investigation into a suspicious occupied parked vehicle in the parking lot of the Quality Inn resulted in arrests of the following individuals: Victoria Seu (47), a resident of Haddon Heights, was charged with possession of CDS (crack cocaine) and being a fugitive from justice out of Camden County. She was later remanded to Camden County Jail without bail. Konstanze E. Goss (44), a resident of Haddon Heights, was charged with possession of CDS (crack cocaine) and later released.

Officers responded to a residence in the 300 block of Ridgeway Street for a domestic dispute. One arrest was reported.

 

10:22 am

Officers responded to the 700 block of Market Street for a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. One injury was reported.

 

4:00 pm

An officer responded to the parking lot at Wawa on Market Street for a hit and run motor vehicle crash. The investigation is ongoing.

 

6:00 pm

The patrol division and city detectives along with the Camden County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 500 block of S. Broadway culminating an investigation into the distribution of CDS from the residence. As a result, a quantity of heroin, drug paraphernalia, cash and a vehicle were seized. Chad J. Conshafter (38), was arrested and charged with possession of CDS (heroin), possession of CDS with intent to distribute, distribution within 500 feet of public housing and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later remanded to Camden County Jail after failing to post $50,000 bail.

 

7:19 pm
