Services Held for Pastor Gary Brennan of the Colonial Manor UMC, Gloucester High Alumnus

GLOUCESTER CITY NJ (CNBNews.net) Pastor Gary Brennan,  a longtime resident of PastorGaryBrennan.IMGGloucester City and a graduate of Gloucester City High School Class of 1969, passed away on April 21 following a brief illness at the age of 64.  He was currently the Methodist Minister serving Colonial Manor United Methodist Church, West Deptford. A celebration of Pastor Brennan's life was held on Sunday afternoon, April 26 at the Colonial Manor UMC.

He is the cherished husband of Christine (Berry). Gary leaves behind his beloved sons, Bryan (Laura) and Michael Helms; his dear brother, Joseph P. Brennan (Dorothy) of Old Saybrook, CT; his beloved grandchildren, Bryan Brennan, Michael, Patrick, Dominick and Zachary Helms. In addition, he leaves sisters-in-law, Barbara Emmons and Renee Carbin and brother-in-law, Ray Berry (Terry) and special “brother” Lou Woolbert as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, his church families and special friends at Colonial Manor UMC, Westville UMC, Memorial UMC in Pine Hill and Wesley UMC in West Berlin where he worked tirelessly serving the Lord as Pastor in ministry over the past 20 years. He especially loved “his home” church family at Trinity UMC in Gloucester City.
