CNB Business News: Attendees at The Little Gym Annual Reunion Take Away a Key Message about Serious Fun

Swedesboro, NJ (Grassroots Newswire) April 27, 2015 - Charles Buzad of The

Little Gym of Swedesboro recently joined other franchise owners and key

team members at the company's annual "Reunion" conference, held from March

6-9 at The Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort in Austin, TX. This year's

conference, themed "reTHINK. rePLAY," challenged attendees to simplify

current initiatives and improve execution by focusing on the basics of The

Little Gym philosophy - delivering "Serious Fun" programs that help

children build new skills, burn energy and make new friends all while

developing self-confidence and providing a positive experience to the

entire family.

The Little Gym system now extends to 30 countries, with more than 200 gyms

in the U.S. and over 300 total worldwide. Reflecting this growth, this

year's Reunion enjoyed worldwide attendance, with participants coming from

Canada, Belgium, China, India, Colombia, Australia, Philippines, Kuwait,

and Mexico in addition to the United States. International attendees

enjoyed an exclusive "International Reception" on March 7.

"The Little Gym Reunion provides a great opportunity to improve the

delivery of our programs, learn about the latest initiatives, and meet

with and learn from my peers," said Buzad. "Each year, the conference

program is packed with content and ideas that I can put into action right

away at The Little Gym of Swedesboro."

This year's sessions focused on "Growth through Simplification", with

Super Sessions and Breakout Sessions designed to remind attendees how to

deliver maximum impact with each class by bringing fun and energy into

each program. Attendees were encouraged to attend these high energy

sessions in their gym wear so that they could participate in the

activities, and left each session armed with tools and ideas to implement

as soon as they returned to their gyms.

Representatives from Kindermusik and LEGO, partners of The Little Gym,

were also on hand to provide attendees with insights on how to integrate

and deliver the Kindermusik at The Little Gym program - designed for

children aged 5 and younger - and LEGO(r) DUPLO(r) and LEGO(r) Juniors

activities. In addition, this year's Reunion featured SeriousFun

Children's Network's CEO, Mary Beth Powers, who helped introduce attendees

to a new The Little Gym philanthropic initiative: The Little Gym Big

Hearts Supports SeriousFun Children's Network. The SeriousFun Children's

Network was founded by Paul Newman to bring camp programs, free of charge,

to children battling serious illnesses worldwide. Throughout the next

three years, The Little Gym locations around the world will offer a number

of campaigns to raise both awareness and money for this organization.

"At The Little Gym of Swedesboro, we believe in 'Serious Fun' - providing

a high-energy, fun, physical experience in a safe and supportive

environment where children can develop trust in their own capabilities,"

said Buzad. "All of our programs have this basic idea at their core, and

this year's Reunion helped all of us re-focus on that one simple idea:

when you make physical activity fun and rewarding, you not only help

children develop their confidence and skills, you help them build a

foundation of healthy habits and respect for their own abilities."
