Bill J. Buscher Jr., Longtime GAF Employee, GCHS Alumnus Class of '53, Antique Car Enthusiast


On March 28, 2015. Age 79. Of Thorofare. Formerly of Gloucester City. Loving husband of 30 6a00d8341bf7d953ef01bb07cf3abd970d-120wiyears to the late Eleanor (nee Peltz). Cherished son of the late William J. Sr. and Catherine C. Buscher (nee Bastien). Survived by his daughter, Loretta L. Galante; grandchildren, Peter and Michelle Galante; his siblings, Joseph A. Buscher (Patricia) and Catherine L. Hecker (late Philip); his companion, Della Matteo. Also survived by his great grandkids, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.  


Bill was a graduate of Gloucester Catholic class of 1953. He worked many years for GAF in Gloucester City and Tire Corral all over South Jersey. Bill was a NASCAR enthusiast and enjoyed his antique cars. 


Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday morning, April 7, 2015 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Funeral service 11:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
