Bike Rodeo Saturday May 2 in Gloucester Township

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP NJ April 29, 2015 (CNBNews.net)The Gloucester Township Police Department wants to make this a community event that saves lives and makes our Township the safest, and healthiest in New Jersey.  The Gloucester Township Police Community Relations Bureau will be conducting our 4th Annual Bicycle Rodeo on Saturday May 2, 2015 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Camden County Timber Creek Dog Park on Chews Landing Road in Gloucester Township.

A rodeo is a bicycle skills event which provides an opportunity for bicyclists to practice and develop skills that will help them to become better bicyclists and avoid typical crashes.  The goal of any bicycle rodeo is to provide an opportunity for the participants to learn, practice, and demonstrate their bicycle handling skills in a fun, noncompetitive atmosphere.

Residents of all ages are encouraged to attend and please bring your bicycle and bicycle safety helmet so it can be properly fitted by members of Safekids Southern New Jersey.

If interested in participating in the event or if you have any questions please contact Lt. Brendan Barton of the Gloucester Township Police Community Relations Bureau at 374-3513 or email [email protected]
