Winslow Police Arrest Raseem McNeil; Charged with Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Weapon Offenses

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP NJ (March 24, 2015)--On Monday March 23, 2015 at 10:09PM Winslow Township Police were dispatched to Sicklerville News for the report of a fight between the store clerk and a customer. Responding officers located the clerk inside of the business. He sustained minor injuries which required medical attention.
The investigation revealed the clerk was working behind the counter when he was violently attacked by an unidentified black male. The suspect savagely beat the clerk about his head and body while threatening the clerk with a pair of scissors. The clerk fought the suspect back causing him to drop the scissors. The suspect then fled on foot with an unknown amount of cash he took from the store.
Further investigation identified the suspect as 21 year old Raseem McNeil. Ptlm Christopher Romeo and Ptlm James Passarella arrested McNeil without incident this morning in the Avandale Development. McNeil was charged with Robbery, Aggravated Assault, and Weapons Offenses.
He was transported to the Camden County Jail where he is currently being held on $250,000.00 cash bail.
