Millville, NJ The Cumberland County Fair Association recently elected Terry Pangburn, President, Don Gloucester-TransmissionSchultz, Vice-President, Lisa Pangburn, Treasurer and Karen LaValle, Secretary to lead the Cumberland County Fair Board for 2015.

This group of directors along with its fair board members, friends of the fair and volunteers are promising to bring a bigger and better fair this July 7-12th, 2015.

The first Cumberland County Fair was held in 1695 and it is the oldest County Fair in New Jersey. The first fair at the Millville location was held in 1968 and 47 years later we are still going strong celebrating life around farming, family and traditions.

Events from previous years will be featured again, including the demolition derby, truck pulls, amusement rides, pig races, women’s skillet toss, pie eating contests, games, Battle of the Bands, 4-H activities, Horse Shows, Hayrides, live entertainment, great food, 4-H BBQ, Classic Cars on the Midway, Monster Truck Rides, Kids' Day, Toilet Seat Toss, comedy shows, Mud Bog, kids bouncys and more.

The Cumberland County Fair board would like to announce the return of the Decorated Kid's strollers and wagon parade around the Midway; to be held on Kid's Day, Wednesday, July 8th, at 2:00 pm. The Fair board will also be hosting a Little Miss & Mister Cumberland County Fair for boys and girls ages 4-8 years that reside in Cumberland County. Pageant will be held on opening night, July 7th at 5:00pm.

During the monthly meetings, the board continues to finalize plans for upcoming fund-raisers to offset the costs for the Cumberland County Fair and their yearly operating expenses. Please try to attend one or all fundraisers listed below and show your support for your county fair.
