CAMDEN CITY MAN CHARGED WITH GLASSBORO CHILD SEXUAL ASSAULT

WOOD BURY NJ--James Cole  (DOB 12/26/53),  of Camden NJ, was charged Wednesday (3/5) with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child under age 13 in Glassboro NJ in January 2012.

 

Cole, in Glassboro because of a relationship he had with a woman there at the time, came to the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office in Woodbury NJ on Wednesday and was arrested.  Bail was set at $100,000 and he was placed in jail in default of bail.

 

The Major Crimes Unit of the Prosecutor’s Office began an investigation after the Glassboro child made a disclosure about Cole to a school counselor, who contacted law enforcement authorities.  The Glassboro Police Department assisted in the investigation.
