NJ News Commons: The Internet Mocks Christie's PAC Acronym

LMFAO: THE INTERNET MOCKS CHRISTIE'S PAC ACRONYM
Several twitter users realized that when you combine Leadership Matters For America, the name of Governor Christie's new PAC, with its web domain suffix (.org), you get the acronym LMFAO. Later, a group with ties to Hillary Clinton photoshopped the governor's face into a picture with LMFAO, the pop duo responsible for the theme song to The Jersey Shore, Christie's least favorite TV show.


NO INDICTMENT FOR WILLIAM PATERSON STUDENTS ACCUSED OF RAPE
A grand jury in Passaic County has decided not to indict a group of five students who were accused of raping and kidnapping another student on campus, reports The Record. The students have been cleared of all charges, but it remains unclear whether they will be allowed to return to campus.

FIRE AND EXPLOSIONS ROCK EDISON DPW BUILDING
For the fourth time since 2012, the Edison DPW building exploded in flames around 10 p.m. on Thursday, reports NJ.com. The fire began in a garage and went on to destroy a building used to hold tires and other vehicles before it was finally brought under control early Friday morning. The cause and losses associated with the blaze have yet to be determined. 

NJIT NAMED 'MOST UNDERRATED' COLLEGE IN THE NATION
The New Jersey Institute for Technology is the most underrated college in the nation, according to Business Insider. Graduates can expect to earn an average of $98,000 per year toward the midpoint of their careers, and the school boasts a 56% job placement rate upon graduation – a rate that's almost 26% higher than the national average. Rutgers-New Brunswick was the only other NJ school to make the list, which tied for 19th place with William Jewel College in Missouri.
