MERCHANTVILLE BANK ROBBERY

Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Merchantville Police Chief Wayne Bauer are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a bank Wednesday.
The suspect entered the PNC Bank located at 26 West Maple Avenue in Merchantville and passed a demand note to a teller around 1:40 p.m.
The robber did not display a weapon. He fled through the back of the bank and ran east on West Maple Avenue with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a white adult male standing about 5-foot-9 with a thin build. He is believed to have brown eyes and black and gray stubble. He was wearing a black cap with a small brim, a three-quarter length navy jacket, blue jeans, white sneakers and black gloves.
