Albert R. Petrongolo, on January 21, 2015, of Bellmawr. Age 92. Beloved husband of Conchetta “Sue” (nee DiSantis) for 66 years. Devoted father of Ronald (Debbie), Joseph (Anita), Michael (Angela), Albert, Jr. (Nancy), Allen (Robin), A. Thomas, Marianne Pierce (Robert), and Paschael (Ann). Loving grandfather of Daniel, Amedeo, Anthony, Michelle, Christine, Joseph Jr., Nina Marie, Michael, Suzann, Gina, Nicole, Dominic, Rocco, Maria, Charlie, Julia, Alisha, Nicholas, Paschal, John, and Mary and great grandfather of Natalie and Veronica. Dear brother of Amedeo “Moe” (the late Anna), Anthony (Rosalyn), Joseph (Gilda), and Francis (Dolores). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Albert proudly served with the US Army during World War II. He worked for GE in Phila., PA for 20 years and then was president and owner of AP Construction until his retirement. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Men of Malvern.
Albert was also a member of the House of Charity Society of Stewards. He was a past honoree of Boys Town of Italy, Philadelphia.
There will be a viewing from 7 to 9pm Monday evening at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE and from 8:45 to 9:45am Tuesday morning at St. Joachim Parish, Annunciation BVM Church, 201 W. Browning Road, Bellmawr, NJ 08031. Funeral Mass 10am Tuesday at the Church. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
