CRIME: Texas Leads Charge Against Obama's Immigration Policy

Mr. Bernie A. Lasoski, St. Joseph's Chemistry Professor, Founder of West Deptford Lions Club

6a00d8341bf7d953ef01a3fcef1127970b-800wiBernard A. Lasoski “Bernie”, aged 85 years of West Deptford, NJ peacefully passed away on December 17, 2014 with his family by his side.

LEGACY
Bernie retired after more than 40 years of service with DuPont where he worked as a Senior Research Chemist. He graduated from Kings College, Wilkes Barre, PA where he was a member of the Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities and served as President of King’s Chemical Society. Bernie received his MS in Chemistry from St. Joseph’s University, Philadelphia and was a Professors of Chemistry at St. Joseph’s University for 15 years.



Away from his work, Bernie was a Founding member of The West Deptford Lions Club for more than 30 years and was Past President. Bernie was a member of the Phillies Welcome Committee for 6 seasons and was an active member of Christ Epsicopal Church where he served as an usher. He also enjoyed a monthly Poker Game with friends and neighbors for 40 years.

Bernie also enjoyed entertaining with his wife; traveling the world and many family vacations. Bernie will be remembered as an easy going, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.

FAMILY
Bernie is the beloved husband of Anna( nee Lipinski); devoted father of Carol A. (James) Craig, Bernard (Beverly) Lasoski, David Lasoski and Janet L. (Julian Pinto) Dean; dear brother of the late Stanley Lasoski; loving grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 4.

FAREWELL CEREMONY
Relatives and friends are invited to join Bernie’s family for his viewing on Monday morning after 9 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ. His Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 AM in Christ Episcopal Church, 62 Delaware Street, Woodbury. Interment will follow in Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro

In lieu of flowers, the family requests, memorial contributions be made to Christ Episcopal Church Building Fund, 62 Delaware Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096.
