2009 POLITICAL NEWS-The Save New Jersey Blog is reporting that Donald Norcross, brother of South Jersey party boss George Norcross and co-chairman of the Camden County Democratic Committee, is likely to replace Dana Redd as state senator in the 5th Legislative District. Redd supposedly is leaving the Senate to run for mayor of Camden City.

Check the department head's business associates for the drain cleaning machines, generator and other missing equipment.

Didn't we spend $100,000.00 to put a fence around Schindler's Palace to keep the undesirables out? It looks like some of the crooks have gate passes.
Who reported the theft and when?
Need answers
Do you mean you wish to get a "List from mr. Shindler?" Then WELL um.. would be referring to this WELL uh.. fence as the hehe "WATERrgate" and the answers u want via: Shindler's List.
Details of the stolen "Brain Cleaning Equipment" have not "Generated" any new leads..lol
Who's "Lap" or WELL uh, who was supposed to be on "TOP" of things, this is FREDirresponsibility's watch, maybe they got "Stolen" from ATCO, like OUR "the City's Truck" did.
AMBER ALERT: "LapTop" runaway or abduction?
Tools, well the voters we're all fools, looks like someone takes their Christmas Bonuses All Year Round. Welcome to Gloucester City, now lock your damn doors from the Water Dept.
Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, it looks like the Race is neck and neck, Camden is in the lead, but wait, here comes Gloucester City throwing away more and more Tax Dollars. Gloucester wants to take the lead to file for Bankruptcy before Camden, we'll have to wait and see, the Employees of the Fire Dept. are giving a Huge Hand to the debt of both City's.
It's anyone's Race, but it looks like we have no clear winner from either neighboring city.
We may just have to wait until the "City Budget Round"
It's really not a funny matter, however department heads and the Governing Body have some deaf ears!

Need answers
You have to start with questions. How about these questions?
Does Schindler have to file a financial statement that discloses all his sources of income?
Do the invoices paid by the city indicate that Schindler has a financial and/or business relationship with those same companies?
Does Schindler have immediate family employed by companies doing business with Gloucester City?
What was Schindler's reason for leaving his previous place of employment and what was his salary?
Is Schindler permitted to engage in his personal business activities during normal business hours?
Is Schindler permitted to leave Gloucester City during normal business hours to conduct business with his personal business associates?
How many of Schindler's private business associates have been awarded contracts that have been subject to his review for final payment?
What controls currently exist to control or define conflicts of interest on the part of our public servants?
Does Schindler have the ability to award or recommend no bid contracts to/for companies that are also personal business associates?
Does Schindler have a spending limit that requires no previous approval before acting?
Is Schindler too busy with outside interests to mind the store for Gloucester City?
Looks like its time for a complete inventory to check to see what else is missing. Does the city do this every year?? This way we don't repurchase stuff we already own. I guess that would make to much economical sense.
What has Mr. Schindler done to correct the problem of concrete and stone in the storm sewer at 8th and Charles Streets? It appears he and his boss have just provided cleanup service at taxpayer expense. Digging the stuff out every month is not the answer. Stopping the source is the answer. Should the chemicals coming out of the cement truck be going into the river? I've seen it. Drive by and see for yourself. You can also see the feral cat colony at the same time.
I am writing to the Cleary Notebook readers for advice. I'll try to keep this as sort as possible.
Our youngest daughter, who has two small children has been homeless for the past year. She's working every day and trying to support her children without any financial help from the father of the kids. For the past year, she and the children have been living from one place to another...
We have been trying to find "affordable" housing, which seems non existent after months and months of searching.
She applied for Section 8 in Gloucester. She was told her had a good chance of getting housing for herself and her kids. She was the only one on the list who was holding down a job. They told her they would check to be sure that she kept her apartment clean...and then they would decide if she got the place. She explained to them, that because of her salary, she had a hard time paying her rent, and that she was often late...which caused her to be charged with one late fee after another, until the point she was threatened with eviction. She just wasn't able to catch up with the rent and the late fees. Our daughter was just denied Section 8 housing because of her renter's history.
With my limited knowledge of Section 8 housing, I was under the impression that the program is for families who are having trouble paying their rent...so I would think that many or most people who apply for section 8 are going to have bad renter's history.
Does anyone know if there is an appeal process to try, or to contact a lawyer? It seems no matter where we go, or who we go to, it's one closed door after another.
It's hard for me to accept that in a wonderful country such as ours, that no one would care about a young mother trying to pay her own way and do her best for her children.
We are not asking for a handout, we are looking for a place that our daughter can afford to live, raise her children and call home.
Any advice from the good people reading, I would truly appreciate.
Thank you, Pat
