Come learn about bats and other nocturnal animals. This fun-filled program will highlight animals that are active at night and things children and their families can do to protect wildlife and their habitats.
This program is presented by Dove Environmental Education featuring Diana and Mike Dove, and is geared for the whole family and organized groups. Popcorn will be provided. Bring your own "sit-upon" and water. This program is appropriate for organized groups and the whole family. Scout groups should e-mail a list of conservation/wildlife/ecology/respect for the earth belt or badge requirements you wish to see covered during the program to [email protected].
Registration required. Funding for this program is provided by the Mansfield Twp. Clean Communities Program.

Weather fans take note: The Pequest Trout Hatchery has become the newest link in Rutgers University's weather station network. The hatchery is now the site of one of 13 stations throughout the state that feed data to the state's weather and climate monitoring system. The Pequest Trout Hatchery and Natural Resource Education Center is located on Rt. 46 nine miles west of Hackettstown in scenic Warren County. On-line directions are available. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) and admission is free.
