Wednesday, November 26, 2014
GTPD Community Bulletin:
On “Black Friday”, November 28, 2014, the Gloucester Township Police Department will once again be engaged in high visibility efforts and activities to encourage a safe environment for shopping at the start of this holiday season. High visibility patrols, target hardening detail, and plain clothes officers will be deployed to decrease aggressive driving, reduce shopliftings, provide homeland security, and protect all of the holiday shoppers who come for a great shopping experience in Gloucester Township.
The Gloucester Township Police will deploy multiple resources to help make a safe and orderly holiday shopping experience. We will partner with local Gloucester Township businesses and community members to create a safe and enjoyable experience.
These efforts will also continue throughout the holiday season to deter and detect those who seek to victimize shoppers, retailers or commit illegal activities in our community.
The community is reminded that if you see something suspicious, please report it to the Police or call 9-1-1. Please remember to wear your seat belt, and to slow down while driving to ensure that you arrive alive for the holidays.
