CHRISTIE VS. THE NURSE
It started with a Friday late-afternoon press conference: Christie and Cuomo, sitting side by side, taking a tough stand requiring a mandatory 21-day quarantine for anybody entering New Jersey or New York after direct contact with Ebola victims. But then Kaci Hickox, a nurse returning from Sierra Leone, isolated in a tent inside University Hospital in Newark, 

picked up the phone to call CNN -- and the Twitterverse went wild with pictures of the tent and praise for the hero nurse. Over the weekend, the White House pressured both states to relent, and Cuomo officially softened his stance, saying quarantines could be served at home. Christie, late last night, released a blast of tweets that mirrored Cuomo's policy -- maintaining, however, that he hadn't changed his stand. Hickox, meanwhile, said Monday morning that she would sueAnd Christie apparently just told reporters he would release her, pending CDC approval.
