Mr. Frank W. Acito, Sr. age 82, of West Deptford

Frank W. Acito, Sr. age 82, of West Deptford, NJ passed away on September 21, 2014 peacefully at home.

Legacy
Frank was a loving gentleman who always saw the positive in others and had an encouraging word. As soon as others met Frank, they liked him; when they got to know him, they loved him. He saw beauty in nature around him, spent many days sailing, which was his true passion, creating boat models and being a member of the Philadelphia Model Boat Club.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Frank was a resident of Thorofare for the past 26 years. He was a United States Navy Veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Verga VFW. Prior to retiring in 1992, Frank was a member of the Local GCIU and a member of the executive board.


Family
Beloved husband of 26 years to Cecile Klein; Devoted father of Cheryl Rettinger, Doreen Jeitner, Frank Acito, Jr., Steven Acito, Glenda Beschen, Brooke Lew, Raymond McClintock and Robert McClintock; treasured grandfather of 19 and great grandfather of 3; dear brother of Jacqueline McLain and James R. Acito, Jr. Also survived by half siblings, John, James and AnnaMarie and step brother William Nell.

Farewell Ceremony
Viewing Wednesday 6:30 – 9:00 pm and Thursday 8:30 – 9:30 am at McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury, NJ 08096; Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am at the Infant Jesus Parish at St. Margaret’s RC Church, Woodbury Heights; Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Infant Jesus, 1215 Kresson Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003.
