On August 29, 2014. Age 30. Of Gloucester City. Loving husband of Melissa L. Hirshorn (nee Paonessa). Cherished father of Avoryanna Monet, Mieka Sarie, Jordan Roland and Emily Grace Hirshorn. Devoted, loved and honored son of Arthur E. Hirshorn, Jr. (Sharon) and Cheryl Carr (Harvey). Dear brother of Dr. A. Elliot Hirshorn, III (Karla), Michael Harrold, II (Jenna) and Richard Harrold (Tiffany). Cherished maternal grandson of George H. Thompson and the late Gail Thompson. Cherished paternal grandson of the late Dr. Arthur E. Hirshorn and the late Anna M. Wallace Hirshorn. Loving son-in-law of Anthony and Patricia Pusateri and Joseph and Colleen Paonessa.
Zach was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. He graduated from Deptford High School class of 2002. He proudly served our country for 12 years in the U.S Army and Air Force and Army National Guard with 1 year deployments to both Korea and Iraq. Zach was a lifetime member of the NRA. He recently prepared biblical studies at Liberty University and studied Airframe and Powerplant at the Aviation Institute of Maintenance.
Relatives, friends, classmates, Military and U.S. veterans are invited to his viewing on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City and Wednesday morning from 9 to 11 AM at Grace Bible Church: 887 Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington. Funeral service 11 AM in the church followed by military honors. Interment will be private.
