Lindenwold Officer administers NARCAN to revive heroin overdose victim

LINDENWOLD NJ AUGUST 19, 2014--On Monday, August 18 at 1839 hours a Lindenwold Officer patrolling in the Arborwood Complex located an unconscious male near the 1000 Building. The adult male was exhibiting symptoms of heroin overdose and was administered the heroin antidote, NARCAN.

Shortly, after receiving the antidote the male regained consciousness and was turned over to Lindenwold EMS. The male was transported to a local hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
