Maple Shade Police Looking for Couple who Stole Cop's Credit Card

The officer's wallet – containing his badge, police identification, driver's license, several credit cards and cash – was taken from his personal vehicle on Wednesday.

According to authorities, a credit card was used at the Wawa located at 55 N. Forklanding Road in Maple Shade just before 1 a.m. Wednesday. The stolen card was also used at a Wawa in Cinnaminson and the Jug Handle Inn.

Authorities allege the pair swiped a Rutgers University police officer's wallet from his personal vehicle and used a stolen credit card at two Wawa stores and a bar in Maple Shade and Cinnaminson.

The wallet contained the officer's badge and has yet to be recovered.

Both suspects were was charged with credit card theft, credit card fraud and conspiracy to commit credit card fraud, police said. Gill was processed and released.

Reed, who remains at large, also was charged with burglary to a motor vehicle and theft, authorities said.
