On May 16, 2014, a long time resident of Gloucester City, NJ, age 79 yrs. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of MaryEllen Hill (neeSettar) and loving father of Wayne C. Jr. (Janice), David J. (Anki), Joseph E. (Diana) and Herbert “Budd” C. (Jeri). He was also the cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mr. Hill proudly served in the Army National Guard and was an American Legion member. He retired from Wyeth Laboratories in King of Prussia, PA., as a Packaging Manager after 39 years of service. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and again Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 POWELL ST., GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to HVMI PO Box 122, Akron. PA. 17501, an organization that works with physical and mentally disable people.
