Two arrested for heroin trafficking in Johnstown

 

HARRISBURG - Attorney General Kathleen G. Kane today announced the arrest of two individuals accused of trafficking heroin in Johnstown.

Agents from the Office of Attorney General's Bureau of Narcotics Investigation and the Cambria County Violent Drug Task Force conducted a fast-moving investigation into the alleged heroin trafficking of Sean McCall, 37 and Krista McCall, 24, both of 828 Fronheiser St., Johnstown.

Approximately 16 bricks or 800 bags of heroin were seized with an estimated street value of $12,000 to $16,000. Agents also seized $4,300 in cash, a box of empty bags used to package heroin, digital scales and rubber bands. 

Sean and Krista McCall each are charged with one count of the manufacture of heroin, one count of possession of heroin and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. 

The defendants are expected to be preliminarily arraigned later this evening at the Cambria County Prison.  

The Office of Attorney General has established a tip line (1-800-442-8006) and Attorney General Kane is encouraging citizens to call and report any drug-related activity in the community. 

Attorney General Kane thanked the Johnstown Police Department for its assistance with the investigation and for its continued assistance in fighting the heroin epidemic in Johnstown.
