Rita J. Christinzio (Nee Krause), aged 82 years, of the Oak Valley section of Deptford, peacefully passed away on April 10, 2014.
LEGACY
Born and raised in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia; Rita met and married a young neighborhood man, Anthony Christinzio and together they shared 64 years of marriage and raised two children. Rita and her family moved to South Jersey in the late 1980’s and remained here for the past 26 years.Rita worked as a Customer Service Clerk at Shop Rite in West Deptford where she made countless numbers of friends, including customers and co-workers.
Away from her work, Rita enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a strong willed woman who loved her family very much.
FAMILY
Rita is the beloved wife of Anthony C. Christinzio; loving mother of Anthony & Heather Christinzio, Michele Vallone and the late Joanne R. McGinn; cherished grandmother of Nicole Rita, Nicole Anne, Peter, Carmen Sophia, Giavanna, Olivia and Anthony; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Rita is predeceased by her parents and seven siblings.FAREWELL CEREMONY
Relatives and friends are invited to join Rita’s family for her viewing Wednesday after 11 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, where her Farewell Ceremony will follow at 12 Noon. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
