Donald Fred Boker, of Gloucester City, NJ passed away today, April 15, 2014. He was 78.
Beloved husband of 47 years to Margaret (nee Hart). Devoted father of Linda Angelo (Ron). Loving grandfather of Matthew, Ian, Mikey, and Eric, all of whom he doted on. Dear brother of Harold (Betty), Fred (Lorraine), Charles, Arthur (Jackie), John, Eileen Tortual (Bill), Irene Clark (Frank), and Arlene Johnson (Bob).
Donald was a pipefitter at NJ Zinc, Gulf and Western, and Coastal Eagle Point, from where he retired in 1998. During those years he worked part-time as a mechanic for Penn Jersey Auto Stores and Korvette Auto Center. Mr. Boker proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict with the US Marine Corps.
There will be a viewing from 9am to 10am Friday at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Funeral service 10am at the funeral home.
Interment private at the request of the family.
