Crimes committed between April 18 through April 21, 2014
Residential Burglary: reported 4-20-2014 2342hrs
Location: 300 block of Colfax St.
Occurred Between: 1450 - 2305hrs 4-20-2014
Resident returned to home and found same to have been entered with someone still possibly inside. The resident went to neighbor's home to call and wait for police to arrive. When the officers arrived a search located no persons inside the house but a pool ladder had been placed against the house giving access to same via a unlocked second floor window. According to the resident only a watch valued at approx. $5 had been taken.
Residential Burglary: reported 4-20-2014 2230hrs
Location: 1st block of S. Pine St.
Resident returned to home and could hear someone inside the house. The victim exited and called police and could hear the intruder rushing out of the house (but not in direction for resident to see them fleeing). Upon checking the interior of the house it was found that entry was gained through an unsecure window. The resident reported the following items missing:
- 2 watches valued at $10
- 1 black colored wallet valued at $5
- NJ Driver's License
- 1 TD Bank ATM card
Residential Burglary: reported 4-19-2014 0846hrs
Location: 100 block S. East Ave.
Occurred Between: 0820 and 0846hrs 4-19-2014
Resident returned to home and found door to home kicked in. Resident called police. After checking the interior of the home the resident reported that approx. $10 in loose change had been taken along with an undisclosed amount of US Currency.
Armed Robbery: reported 4-19-2014 0304hrs
Location: 200 block of Bank St.
According to the victim he was inside his kitchen when someone knocked on the back door. The victim (an adult male) said that he opened the door thinking that it was his friend and was struck on the head with a brick (causing laceration requiring treatment/examination at hospital). The victim reported that one black male took his wallet while another looked on.
