Lindenwold Police: Drug Investigation Yields Multiple Arrests, Drug and Money Seizure

LINDENWOLD NJ (MARCH 24, 2014)--On Thursday March 20, 2014 the Lindenwold Police Department executed a search warrant at the Belmont Apartments located at 2007-2009 White Horse Pike. The search warrant ended a four month investigation into the sale of narcotics at the apartment complex conducted by Lindenwold Detectives.
During the investigation, detectives were able to seize 38 bags of suspected crack cocaine, 3 small bags of marijuana, 168 packets of suspected heroin, 2 Oxycodone tablets, 16 Morphine tablets and 8 Alprazolam tablets. Also seized was $2,721.00 in suspected proceeds.
The following people were arrested in connection with the investigation:
- Helen Williams, 52 of Lindenwold, NJ charged with Conspiracy to distribute CDS, Possession of CDS. She was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility in default of $20,000 (10%) bail.
- Gene Thornton, 34 of Voorhees, NJ charged with 3 counts distribution of CDS and 2 counts possession of CDS. He was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility in default of $100,000 full cash bail.
- Mark Parson, 44 of Browns Mills, NJ charged with 2 counts possession of CDS. He was released on a summons.
- Troy Morris, 52 of Camden, NJ charged with possession of CDS. He was released on a summons.
- Tyrice Jackson, 34 of Lindenwold, NJ charged with distribution and possession of CDS. He was released after posting $20,000 (10%) bail.
- Milton Harris, 32 of Camden, NJ charged with obstructing the administration of law. He was released on a summons.
- Sean Hammonds, 19 of Lindenwold, NJ charged with distribution and possession of CDS. He was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility in default of $20,000 (10%) bail.
- Tyree Moore, 18 of Turnersville, NJ was found to be a wanted person out of Atlantic County NJ. He was remanded with no bail.
- Kenneth Payne, 31 of Lindenwold, NJ charged with distribution and possession of CDS. He was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility in default of $100,000 full cash bail.
