Governor Christie: Some people that I trusted and relied upon, let me down. And as a result, we let down the people of the state of New Jersey. That of course shakes your confidence. But in the end, what it’s resolved me to do is to get better. And, I’ve said, any number of times for those of you who cover the town hall meetings on a regular bases, that I never promised that I’d have a perfect Administration. There’re going to be mistakes that are made by human beings, myself included. What matters is how you respond to those mistakes and how you act. And I hope that as we go forward we can avoid this type of stuff because this has not been pleasant for anybody. Starting with the people that were caught in that traffic in Fort Lee from the 9th to the 13th of September and everybody since then. It has been an unpleasant situation and continues to be. So, I’ll just continue to do the best I can. I’ll continue to cooperate in the places where it’s appropriate for me to do so. But most importantly, I’ll continue to do my job. And hopefully over the course of time some of that confidence lost will be restored, and will be based upon the work that you do and the results that you produce. And that’s what’s most important.
