Williamstown man struck, killed by minivan

GLOUCESTER — A Gloucester County man was killed early this morning when he was hit by a minivan as he walked down the road, according to a report by NBC Philadelphia.
Carl Thomas, 53, ofWilliamstown was walking along Hurffville Crosskeys Road (Route 654) inGloucester Township at around 1:30 a.m. today when a Chevrolet minivan heading south struck him, according to police.
Thomas was taken to Kennedy Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the minivan remained at the scene after the accident, the report said. Police did not say whether the driver will face charges.
