(February 11, 1953 - January 10, 2014)

Stephen P. Donnachie, “Steve” & “Mr. D”, of Blackwood, on January 10, 2014 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Age 60.

Beloved husband of Janet M. (nee McGowan). Devoted father of Bryan Matthew Donnachie, Katie Marie Donnachie, Philip Steven Donnachie and Shannon Rose Donnachie. Preceeded in death by his parents, Garrett and Euphemia Donnachie and granddaughter Kira Rose Donnachie. Also survived by his lifelong friends Jerry Terramargra, Jeff Manion, and “Mom” Miriam Manion. He also leaves behind his children’s dear friends, that had become like his own children and grew close to his heart.

Steve received his electrical engineering degree from the DeVry Institute in Phoenix, AZ and was a LANS administrator with Pepco Holdings, Inc. in DE.

There will be a viewing from 4pm to 7pm Wednesday evening at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral service 7pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Steve’s memory to Free To Breathe, c/o National Lung Cancer Partnership, 1 Point Place, Suite 200, Madison, WI 53719.

Special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Philadelphia, PA for their dedication, kindness, love, and support. The team at CTCA made all the difference in the world and the Donnachie family will forever remember them.
