Shirley B. Bramble, Co-Owner of Brambles Cold Cuts, Past President of the Gloucester City LL and CP Basketball League, GHS Alumnus Class of '55

 

Shirley B. Bramble (nee Calhoun), of Sicklerville, NJ passed away on September Image 4, 2013 at the age of 75.

 

Shirley was born and raised in Gloucester City.  She was a Gloucester High School cheerleader and a member of the graduating Class of 1955.  Shirley and her husband Joe are the owners of Brambles Cold Cuts. She was known as Mom to all the Gloucester Catholic students and kept a photo album of all their senior pictures.  Shirley was a past president of the Carmen Palmero Basketball League and Gloucester City Little League.  She also enjoyed swimming, dancing, roller skating and going to Class Reunions in Cape May. 

 

She is the beloved wife of Joseph E. Bramble III, loving mother of Sherle K. Murphy (Gerald), Joseph E. Bramble IV, and Anthony J. Bramble (Mary) and dear sister of Anna Mae Berry.  She is also survived by her 12 dear grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.   

 

Relatives and friends are invited to meet Monday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Etherington-Creran Funeral Home, 700 Powell St., Gloucester City, NJ.  Shirley’s Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM at the funeral home.  Interment will follow  at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.   In lieu of flowers Shirley’s family would appreciate memorial donations be made to Tiny Little Pieces Learning Ctr., c/o Fulton Bank of NJ, 301 W. Browning Rd., Bellmawr, NJ 08031, Attn: Tiny Little Pieces Learning Ctr.
