Penns Grove too Strong for Gloucester Catholic, Final 36-0 / MaxPreps

GLOUCESTER CITY, N.J. - Penns Grove (Carneys Point, N.J.) put an additional eight points on the board on top of its 28-point lead going into the fourth quarter to beat out Gloucester Catholic (Gloucester City, N.J.) 36-0.

The score was knotted at zero heading into the half. The Red Devils took the lead for good on a Dahkim Sealstouchdown run in the third quarter.

Penns Grove scored 28 points in the third quarter on the way to a win. PG rushed for four touchdowns on the ground during the quarter, including two by Seals.

Gloucester Catholic (1-2) will play a non-conference game against Pitman next week, while Penns Grove (2-0) will take on Salem also in a non-conference game.

SALEM NJ--The Gloucester City Lions football team lost Saturday's away conference game against Salem by a score of 41-14. 

Congratulations to #41 Michael Cox (overall), #28 Justin Graves(offensive) and #68 Jason Mull (defensive) for being selected as the Players of the Game.
