Obituary: Calogera "Carrie" Ackerle of Mt. Ephraim

(February 20, 1928 - September 25, 2013)Calogera “Carrie” C. Ackerle (nee Santoro), on September 25, 2013 of Mt. Ephraim, formerly of Camden. Age 85.Beloved wife of the late George Ackerle. Devoted mother of George P. Ackerle (Jamie). Loving grandmom of Annabelle and Penelope. Dear sister of Natalina Shuler and the late Gaetano Santoro. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Carrie was the owner of Ackerle’s Pastry Shop on Broadway in Camden for 45 years.
There will be visitation Monday morning from 10 to 11:30am at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Memorial Service Monday morning 11:30am.
Inurnment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
