It's the end of the summer and we're wrapping up our vacation festivities. Getting ready for school has become a priority.
But, what about Fido?
Your dog is part of the family and it's easy and fun to include him in your fall rituals. Allow him to sniff the new back-packs and clothing. Take him for a quick shopping trip and let him pick out a new toy or buy him a new harness. Be sure that you have found a reputable pet sitter or that his surroundings are safe and comfortable if you must leave him alone during the day. Doggie day care is a popular, although expensive, way to keep him occupied.
Remember that more pets are stolen from their yards during the holidays than at any other time of the year. Please don't let your dog outside if you're not at home!
Have a safe and happy Labor Day and a productive school year! Don't forget about beginner obedience classes here at Brother of the Wolf, beginning on Saturday, September 28 from 11-12:00. $20 per dog, per class. Residents of Gloucester City are tuition free with enrollment. Call 856.981.8957 to enroll.
