The list below of black-on-white violence since the death of Trayvon Martin may provide some clarity as there has been little actual, and certainly no forceful, public mention by these three amigos of race baiting about any of these crimes.

Why is that?

Why is the only time this President or Sharpton speaks to a specific case it has to do with racial incidents that they cherry pick having the potential to incite and divide rather than heal and bring together?

Why is that?

This seemingly one-sided use of the bully pulpit to create a racial divide did not start for these men with the George Zimmerman-Trayvon Martin case.

I first became aware of the existence of Al Sharpton when Tawana Brawley burst onto the scene in 1987 making what would later be proven to be false accusations of rape against 6 white men that included a police officer.

'...Brawley, then a 15-year-old girl living in Wappingers Falls, N.Y., accused Pagano and five other white men of kidnapping her and raping her over a four-day period in some woods.

Brawley is black. Enter one Al Sharpton, then an obscure minister, ranting, raving and race baiting.

Sharpton, along with two lawyers -- Alton Maddox and C. Vernon Mason -- acted as Brawley's supporters and "advisers."

They bought -- hook, line and sinker -- her tale of being abducted by two of the men and then driven to some woods, where the abductors and four other men raped her.

Sharpton and Brawley's other two "advisers" refused to have her cooperate with state officials. Sharpton called then-New York Gov. Mario Cuomo a racist, and insisted that having Brawley talk to the state attorney general would be akin to having a concentration camp inmate talk with Adolf Hitler....'

For President Barack Obama the use of his position of power to insert himself into specific cases began early on.

In 2009 there was an arrest made in Cambridge, Ma. by a white officer of a black Harvard professor that, thanks in no small part to Obama, became a racially charged situation.

'The Presidency Is Not A Bully Pulpit To Protect Friends (at least until your final days in office), And Certainly Not The Place To Create Racial Tension 

Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates is Arrested by Police Sgt. Jim Crowley in Cambridge, Ma.

Regardless of the facts of the case, this is not the venue for the Commander in Chief who appoints the Attorney General (the highest law enforcement official in the land) to get involved and inject his opinion as to the facts that have yet to play themselves out. Of notice is that the arrested is a FOO (Friend of Obama).

The need for a hands off policy is particularly true in a racially charged case where the President comes down on the side of the accused, and invokes the history of racial injustice in the country. All this at a prime time news conference that was meant to plug the holes in the sinking health care reform ship....' (Source)

So is fomenting a race war in the United States the ultimate goal for these men?

That remains to be seen of course and we can only hope that the answer is no but if their arbitrary vocality and silence concerning specific crimes can be used as a guide, it very well might be!
