GLOUCESTER CITY NJ--New Jersey Department of Transportation employees were still working on clearing the water and debris off of Route 130 north under the Route 42 underpass at 12 noon today (July 29, 2013). On Sunday seven inches of rain fell on Gloucester City in just three hours. The driver of the truck seen in distant had to abandon his vehicle Sunday because the water was too deep. The DOT has several pumps on the scene draining the water off of the highway. It is not known when the roadway will be opened to traffic.
