John Dingle Jr., (DOB 6/15/92), of Newkirk St., Clayton NJ has been charged with motor vehicle violations as a result of an early morning crash on July 28 at the intersection of Jackson and Grant avenues in Franklinville NJ. Dingle received summonses for disregarding a stop sign, reckless driving, racing on a highway and driving while intoxicated. The charges were signed by the Franklin Township Police Department and will initially be reviewed by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office because there was an injury associated with the crash. Dingle’s 1999 Honda Accord collided with a tree at Jackson and Grant and he was transported to Cooper Medical Center in Camden with minor injuries. 07/29/13 Operation Cross Country—a three-day nationwide enforcement action focusing on underage victims of prostitution—has concluded with the recovery of 105 sexually exploited children and the arrests of 150 pimps and other individuals. The sweep took place in 76 cities and was carried out by the FBI in partnership with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) as part of the Bureau’s Innocence Lost National Initiative. Gloucester Township Police Department press release GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP NJ--On 7/29/2013 at approximately 5:06 PM, the Gloucester Township Police responded to Woodbury Turnersville Road at County House Road in Gloucester Township for a report of two females fighting on a NJ Transit bus. The arriving officer found two females actively fighting on the bus, which was evacuated by the bus driver. One of the subjects, Linda Mason, was being held down in one of the seats and struggling with the other subject, Paige James. Both women ignored police directions to stop fighting resulting in oleoresin capsicum or "pepper spray" being used to restrain them. Paige James then resisted the officer while being taken into custody. They've seemed to have found a safe home in a nearby natural area behind the homes which is basically untouched by humans. PHILADELPHIA—Amos Singleton, 58, of Philadelphia, was sentenced late yesterday to 30 years in prison for the armed robbery of an employee of the Walnut Lane Apartments at 236 West Walnut Lane in Philadelphia, in November 2010. Singleton and Corey Pasley, who worked at the apartment complex as a security guard, made off with cash, money orders, and checks, after Singleton struck the victim and fired his gun, striking the victim in the head. Despite severe injuries, the victim broke free, ran from the office, and alerted residents to the robbery. Singleton and Pasley stole approximately $2,645 in cash and $1,265 in money orders and checks from the office safe. U.S. District Court Judge Norma Shapiro also ordered restitution, a $2,500 fine, and five years of supervised release. Christine A. Cammarata (September 1, 1985 - July 28, 2013) Christine A. Cammarata, on July 28, 2013, died suddenly in an automobile accident, of Voorhees. Age 27. According to the NJ State Police, Red Lion Station, the 27-year-old woman apparently lost control of her vehicle as she was traveling westbound on Sooy Place Road, Saturday, July 27 around 2:30am. Who Were In The Process Of Burglarizing A Home. On 7-26-2013 at approximately 2:30 P.M., the Gloucester Township Police Department received a call from an observant citizen, who indicated that two suspicious males had just exited the rear of a residence on Furman Drive in Glendora. The males then entered a red vehicle and began to drive away from the residence. On Sunday seven inches of rain fell on Gloucester City in just three hours. The driver of the truck seen in distant had to abandon his vehicle Sunday because the water was too deep. July 28, 2013 press release On July 25, 2013 at approximately 2:20 AM, an alert community member spotted four suspicious men dressed in dark clothing who appeared to be burglarizing a nearby car parked nearby. Officers were already in the immediate are conducting directed patrols for criminal activity, and quickly spotted the suspects. The suspects fled on foot from the officers through nearby yards. A perimeter was quickly established and a Gloucester Township Police K-9 Unit responded to the scene and began a track of the suspects. press release FRANKLINVILLE NJ (JULY 28, 2013)--Two cars driving at high rates of speed in the same direction early today on Jackson Avenue in Franklinville NJ both crashed, leaving one driver dead in a lake at Jackson and Grant avenues. The deceased driver was Lateef Scarlett (DOB 7/31/91) of Clayton NJ. The 1992 BMW sedan he was driving overturned as it entered a small body of water off Little Ease Run. Scarlett, who was the only occupant of his car, was dead when pulled from the vehicle about two hours after the 4:37 a.m. crash. Members of the Malaga Dive Team and Rescue unit retrieved him. The driver of the other car was John Dingle Jr. (DOB 6/15/92), of Clayton. The 1999 Honda Accord he was driving struck a tree at Jackson and Grant, overturned and caught fire.
