ROWAN TO HOST BASEBALL CAMP

GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University baseball coaching staff and members of the team will host a two-day camp on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 20 and 21. The sessions will take place at the University’s baseball complex adjacent to Bunce Hall.
The camp will run each day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. The rain date is scheduled for Thursday, August 22. Students in grades 9-12 in the fall of 2013 are eligible to participate.
The camp is designed to offer each player a chance to perform in front of collegiate coaches through a series of drills and competitive games. The participants will also receive quality instruction from the Rowan coaching staff, including head coach Juan Ranero and assistant coaches Dave Smolenski, Nick Sbarra and Darren Comegys.
Players are asked to bring their own cleats, bat, glove, batting gloves, helmet and practice attire. Catchers should bring their own equipment. The two-day session costs $125 and includes a t-shirt for each participant. Please mail the registration form and check payable to “Rowan University Baseball Team”.
