Haddon Township Police Investigating Daytime Burglary

On Wednesday, June 19, 2013, the Haddon Township Police Department Photo_1355011764190-1-0 responded to the 100 block of Lees Lane of Haddon Township for a burglary. The homeowner reported that she came home and found that the house had been entered and several items were missing.
Entry was gained to the house by smashing in a basement window located in the rear of the home.
Police received information from a neighbor that two black males knocked on her door asking for directions to the White Horse Pike.
 
They were provided with directions on how to get to the White Horse Pike and then they walked off in the opposite direction that they were instructed to go. The suspects were described as being in their late teens to early twenties and one of the males was wearing a red baseball cap and white t-shirt. It is believed that incident occurred between 12pm and 2:30pm.
The Haddon Township Police Department Criminal Investigation Division is currently investigating this crime.

The Haddon Township Police Department would like to remind everyone to properly secure their homes at all times and to contact the police IMMEDIATELY if they observe someone suspicious in their neighborhoods. Suspicious individuals would include someone knocking on your door that you do not know or expect.
