May 7, 2013 (Washington, DC) - The Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) has received a grant from Dallas Safari Club (DSC) to assist with CSF's mission of protecting and advancing hunting, recreational shooting and fishing and trapping
"We are grateful for the support the Dallas Safari Club has provided the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation. Like all of our sponsors, DSC's generous support makes it possible for CSF to carry out its mission and continue to be the voice for the American sportsman and woman in the halls of government," stated Jeff Crane, President of CSF.
DSC Executive Director Ben Carter, who also serves on the CSF Board of Directors, said, "On behalf of our members and supporters across the US, we're proud to support the most respected and trusted voice for sportsmen in Congress, the Administration, federal land management agencies and state legislatures."
DSC is an independent nonprofit organization that works to conserve wildlife and wilderness lands, educate youth and the general public, and promote and protect the rights and interests of hunters worldwide. CSF shares a common commitment to land and wildlife conservation efforts and educating the general public on the impact hunters have on conservation in the United States.
