CHERRY HILL POLICE ISSUES SCAM ALERT

CHERRY HILL NJ--According to the Cherry Hill Police Department on May 24, 2013 at 1230hrs the pictured female attempted to scam an unsuspecting elderly female utilizing what’s called a “Pigeon Drop”.
 

Police said, the female suspect allegedly approached the victim in the parking lot of Wegmans in Cherry Hill and showed the victim a bag of “money” that she said she found.

Police say the suspect allegedly attempted to convince the victim to withdraw money as a sign of good faith and they would later split the money inside of the bag.

Authorities say the suspect was unsuccessful in this incident.
