GLASSBORO NJ--The Annual Taliaferro Foundation/South Jersey Football Coaches Association's (SJFCA's) Blue-White All-Star Football Classic will be held Thursday, June 27, 7 p.m. at Rowan University’s Richard Wackar Football Stadium in Glassboro.

The rosters for the Annual Blue‑White All‑Star Classic -- the all‑star football game that brings together South Jersey's premier seniors -- have been finalized.

Coaches for the all-star contest will be Absegami’s Dennis Scuderi (Blue team) and Haddon Heights' Ralph Schiavo (White team). A press conference to introduce the Taliaferro All-Stars will be held on Sunday, April 14, 1 p.m., at Rowan University's Student Center.

Proceeds from the annual contest will once again benefit the Adam Taliaferro Foundation.

Taliaferro, the former Eastern High School standout, was paralyzed while making a tackle for Penn State in 2000. He has made a remarkable recovery and is now a lobbyist for a major pharmaceutical company.

The Adam Taliaferro Foundation ( was started in 2001, and has raised nearly $1 million, helping others who have incurred spinal injuries throughout the tri‑state area.

The mission of the Foundation is to not only provide financial but emotional support for victims of spinal cord injuries and education to treat and prevent future injuries. In addition, the foundation provides yearly scholarships to high school students.
