GLOUCESTER CITY NJ--On Wednesday, April 24, 2013,  the Gloucester Lions hosted the Glassboro Bulldogs. The game featured a pitching duel between Lions Austin Darrow and Bulldogs Rocco Mazzo. Darrow and Mazzo went inning for inning putting 0 on the board. Mazzo was forced off the mount in 6th while Darrow went the distance.

The Lions mounted several threats against Mazzo throughout the game but the Bulldogs defense stopped any Lions from crossing the plate. While Lion's Darrow kept the Bulldogs off the scoreboard allowing 6 baserunners over 7 innings while striking out 9. But the Bulldogs Mazzo led off the 8th against Darrow and scored after a couple Lion's miscues giving the Bulldogs an  2 -0 win.
The Lion's were led on offense by Stephen Bobo 2 for 3 with a double.
