Funeral services for Joseph J. Montgomery, of Woodbury, will be held on
Wednesday, April 24 at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury. Mongo lossed his battle with emphezema on April 20 at the age of 72.
Joe was born and raised in Philadelphia, on October 17, 1940. He served his country in the Army, and was proud of his Irish and Scottish heritage. An avid Penn State supporter, Joe enjoyed playing football and softball. He rooted for the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, and believed in the power of friendship and kept the trust of that bond with many life-long friends.
Joseph is the loving father of Veronica Montgomery, and Agnes (William) Epting; adoring grandfather of Brett, Mary Jane, Victoria, Amber, Samantha, and Billy; devoted great grandfather of Conor; also survived by cousins and many friend
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday 9-11AM in McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury. Funeral service will be held at 11AM.
