Helen Heisler, age 76, Retired Secretary for the Gloucester City Board of Education | cnbnews

On April 11, 2013. Age 76 (nee Geoghegan) Of Gloucester City. Beloved wife of the late James E. Heisler. Loving mother of Michael (Theresa) of Wahiawa, HI, John (Patricia) of Bonita Springs, FL, Edward and Gregory of Rosary Gloucester City.  Cherished grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 5. Dear sister of Mary Curry and her husband James and Rita Nardi and her late husband Joseph. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. 

 

Helen was born in Pennsauken and was a 1954 graduate of Camden Catholic High School in Camden. Mrs. Heisler worked as a secretary in the Gloucester City Board of Education from 1977 to 2002. Helen was an active parishioner of St. Mary’s R.C. Church in Gloucester City, a devoted member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Gloucester City Senior Citizens Association.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday evening from 6 to 8 PM and again on Tuesday morning from 9 to 10 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Tuesday at St. Mary’s R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth St. Gloucester City. Interment private at New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr. 

 

In compliance with Helen’s wishes we request, in a continued plea for the sanctity of life, there will be NO flowers with the exception of a single red rose.  In lieu of all other expressions of sympathy / flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Msgr. Lucitt’s Needy Children’s Fund of Gloucester City: P.O. Box 87, Gloucester City, NJ 08030. Please write in the memo: Helen C. Heisler.
