The “GOOD FRIDAY” Lie | cnbnews.net

Pastor of the Lighthouse Baptist Church

GLOUCESTER CITY NJ--Ever since I can remember, I was taught the entire story of Jesus’s Crucifixion, the Triumphal entry into Jerusalem the mock trial, the appearance before Pilate, the parting of His garments and all of the other details of what the “Church” called “Holy Week”.  My family faithfully observed Lent and all its abstinences and I even studied these doctrines for 3 years in Catechism classes (now CCD).  How vividly do I remember my mentors imparting the sanctity of “Good Friday”, the day that Jesus was hung on the cross, dying and being buried in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathaea to rise again on Easter morning.  I was thoroughly indoctrinated in the teaching of the “Church”, but NOT of Christ.

Imagine the shock that came to my soul when I read in the Scripture the words of Jesus, Himself, in St. Matthew, chapter 12, verse 40,
For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” !   To say that I was stunned and confused would be a great understatement!!!  When I asked my religious mentors, they had no viable explanation.  I was simply told that I should trust THEM to read and interpret the Scriptures for me – the Bible was not meant for me to read.  Needless-to-say, that did nothing to assuage my desire to understand what Jesus meant by “3 days and 3 nights…” and how “Good Friday” to Easter morning worked with that.  Either Jesus was wrong or “Good Friday” was a lie.

After much research and FAITHFUL STUDY of the BIBLE and not the traditions of the “Church” and what MAN says, it’s clear that the whole concept of “Good Friday” IS a lie and that Jesus was NOT Crucified on Friday.  In fact, on that particular day, His body was ALREADY in the grave.  You might ask, “What difference does it make, which day He was Crucified?”  Good question, and the answer is simple.  If your religious mentors are willing to CONTINUE to perpetuate a lie about something so obviously FALSE as “Good Friday”, what else might they be lying to you about?

On Wednesday evening, at 7:00 pm at Lighthouse Baptist Church, I am teaching a Bible study on the very subject, The GOOD FRIDAY Lie”.  I have prepared a Powerpoint presentation which will take us step-by-step through the entire Crucifixion to Resurrection timetable and I will pinpoint exactly WHEN Christ was place on the cross and when he arose.  I will prove, FROM THE BIBLE that “Good Friday” is a lie.  If you have an open mind, please come join us and see what God’s Word has to say.
