Mr. Davis has demonstrated consistent and extraordinary leadership in providing volunteer support and resources to Habitat for Humanity, always accepting the call to help when families are in need. The evening was hosted by freelance meteorologist Robyn Stevens. Sprenger started her tearful speech by saying “I still can’t believe I can say I am a homeowner!” Sprenger thanked everyone in the room for supporting the organization that helped her dreams become reality.

Executive Director Lori Leonard said “We were honored to award Mitchell Davis as Volunteer of the Year but the evening was also about hope; the hope that families feel when they have the stability to live and thrive. The hope that they have when they are able to purchase their own home.”
