LETTERS: YOU'RE INVITED
Tuesday, March 19, 2013
I want to tell you about a terrific event that families and children should plan to attend. The Camden County Board of Freeholders is sponsoring a free interactive conference on parenting for families and kids called “Raising The Next Generation” on Saturday, April 13th, from 8 a.m.-1:15 p.m. at Pennsauken High School. We created this conference to help families raise bright, healthy, happy children. It will be a day of learning, but one of fun interactive activities for all ages.
Parenting expert, TV host, author and Courier-Post columnist, Lu Hanessian, from Cherry Hill, will be the keynote speaker and there will be a variety of workshops, from nutrition and exercise, Karate and bullying to fatherhood, being an advocate for your child, from how to do homework to how to have fun as a family. Top experts and authors will there to run workshops, many of them hands on. The day will start with a complimentary continental breakfast.
There will be exhibitors and activities to delight everyone from toddlers to teens and adults. There will also be on-site childcare for those who need it.
Come join us for a day of fun, inspiration and learning. Our children are the future and we all face challenges in today’s world in raising them and helping them to become the smart, happy, healthy people we want them to be.
SAVE THE DATE! Stay tuned at www.camdencounty.com for registration announcements and more information coming soon.
Sincerely,
Carmen Rodriguez
