PALMYRA NJ: April is leaf and brush collection month!

Announcing new trash collection contractor!

PALMYRA NJ--During April, the Borough will collect resident's leaves and brush. Please place them at the curb for pickup during the month of April only. Please note that after April, leaves and brush will not be picked up again until November.

Please bear in mind that no contractor or landscaper debris is permitted to be placed at the curb per Ordinance 2013-04 unless you have a permit, which is available free of charge at the Borough Clerk's office. Permits are available for senior citizens, the physically disabled, or for those residents physically unable to put their leaves and brush at the curb themselves.

No construction debris, tires, concrete or stumps will be collected during the month of April.

Also, the Borough has contracted with a new trash removal contractor effective April 1st! Look for trash trucks from Central Jersey Waste & Recycling, Inc. starting on Monday. We're very excited with this change, which will save Palmyra residents about $60,000 this year, and look forward to more changes in the coming months including new 95-gallon trash-only carts that will be distributed later in the spring.

The trash collection schedule currently remains unchanged with Monday pickup for properties on the Borough Hall side of Broad Street and Tuesday pickup for properties on the Delaware River side of Broad Street.

For problems with your trash pickup please call Central Jersey Waste & Recycling directly at (888) 870-8566.
