(cnbnews.net)Two former teachers and the former principal of Triton Regional High School in Runnemede, implicated last fall in a sexual-abuse case, pleaded guilty Monday to official misconduct and failing to report the incidents to authorities.
The teachers, Jeff Logandro, 32, and Dan Michielli, 27, both of
Blackwood, were accused in October of having improper personal and
physical relationships with female students between November 2011 and
June 2012.
Logandro and Michielli each agreed to 30 days of detention - which could be house arrest - and will be sentenced to one to five years of probation in March. Each admitted Monday that he "cultivated and engaged in an improper relationship" with a student.
As part of their plea agreements, more serious charges of criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of children were dropped. A charge of sexual assault against Michielli also was dropped.
Cases remain open against Martinelli, 28, of Cherry Hill (engaging in an innapropriate relationship), and administrator Jernee Kollock, 39, of Williamstown. (Failure to report, and other charges)
